A Moment of Renovation

Video-mapping of a mix of traditional and digital animation, projected over an ink drawing made on paper from bakeries, and background music.
This video features the installation together with Noe Cor’s work, with whom we shared the space.
Context
The instalation took part of the celebration of the 300 years of the Fine Arts Academy of Bruges, in the collective exhibition “A Moment of Renovation”, with artists Dina Mouton, Noe Cor and Inge Vanoverschelde, in the chapel turned into museum “De Schipperskapel” in Bruges, Belgium, in January 2018.
Description
Drawing made with chinese ink on a support made from 12 baguette wrapping papers from bakeries of different french cities.
The animation is composed by a hand animated human figure, digitalized and moved along the drawn path, while the background is lit as they walk through each bread paper.
